Currently in the world, on media, we see dialy stories about divisiveness and hate. Over the past few years, the artist Lisa Congdon have been focusing her art practice on making work that promotes unity, inclusion, tolerance and love. “I combine the symbolism of animals and nature in my work with hand lettered phrases to remind my viewers the importance of finding common ground and seeking understanding”. This artwork talks about positivism, pleasant feelings, light and a better world.
